MAHLE Corporate Venture Capital

We support innovative start-ups in areas connected with the MAHLE core businesses, by not only providing growth capital but also assisting the new companies with our expertise and international network.

This commitment is mutually beneficial. On the one hand, the new companies benefit from the operational and strategic knowledge of our experts in four business units as well as the advantages of a global network in the areas of research & development, production, and sales. On the other hand, the up-and-coming companies can help MAHLE to retain and strengthen its competitive position.

The success of this approach is demonstrated in the examples of ENTEC GmbH, a manufacturer of controlled oil pumps, and Amovis GmbH, which is highly competent in the field of intelligent exhaust heat recovery by means of ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle). These two companies are now part of the MAHLE Group.

MAHLE also participated in the Emerald Cleantech Fund III. Emerald Technology Ventures invests in new companies in the energy, water and materials sectors. Founded in 2000, the venture capital specialist has invested in 50 companies to date.
